I provide psychotherapy and mental health counselling virtually by Zoom or by telephone (individual only--couples and families must be seen over Zoom). I currently do not offer in-person appointments.
My regular working hours are Tuesday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm. If needed, I can provide evening appointments on Wednesdays.
I work with individuals, couples, and families. For individual therapy, I accept clients aged 16 and up.
My goal is to support and assist you on your healing journey. If you find that my methods are not working or you don't feel like we have created a good therapeutic relationship, I would encourage you to advise me so we can either proceed in a manner more suitable to your needs or terminate therapy if you desire and make a referral to someone who can meet your needs. I recommend setting attainable goals and will often provide tools to practice and/or homework (this can vary in type) to review and work on to help with meeting goals and making progress.
I require a consent form to be understood and signed before therapy can begin. This form will be provided prior to our first session. The session will not proceed if I do not have a signed copy.
I cannot write prescriptions for medications. Please see your medical doctor, psychiatrist, or qualified nurse if you require medication. I also cannot give a mental health diagnosis; please see a psychiatrist for this if needed.
